A Last-Minute Easter Gift Guide for Little Girls

Easter is right around the corner, and I don’t know about you, but I am not prepared this year. As I write this it is Sunday, March 19th. I am just now realizing that I only have 3 weeks to get myself together and to make sure the Easter Bunny has everything he (she) needs. If you are in the same position as me, have no fear. I have scanned the aisles of my local Target, scrolled through all of the cute things on Amazon and perused the amazing toys of Crayola all to make sure that we’re all prepared. Here is my last-minute Easter gift guide for little girls.

Forget the Easter Candy and Get Toys

My kids almost always seem to have more than enough candy in our house. Every day they bring home something from school. Valentine’s Day mirrored Halloween, as my five year old brought home a whole gift bag (present size) full of sweets and treats. So for Easter this year I’m focusing more on the cute reusable things, and less on the sugar. Check out these adorable items that would look great in your little girl’s Easter basket.

  1. LEGO Creator 3 in 1 White Rabbit Building Set

LEGO Creator 3 in 1 White Rabbit Building Set

My girls are 8 and 5, so LEGO sets like the LEGO White Rabbit are a perfect gift for their Easter Baskets. This 3 in 1 set not only makes a rabbit, but it also makes a seal and a parakeet. If you saw my recent post about buying LEGOs for myself, you’ll know that these LEGO sets can be absolutely adorable and seasonally appropriate. This is definitely one of those sets. The rabbit is super cute and definitely says “Easter.” And if you like the rabbit, you should definitely check out the LEGO birds nest I made recently, too!

2. Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Bunny Family Spring Basket

I think it’s obvious why I picked this as a must-have for a little girl’s Easter basket. Hatchimals have been a fun toy for my girls for years now. They love any toy that involves opening up something and finding a surprise inside. This Hatchimals Basket features six toys, including the 4 that are waiting inside the adorable little Hatchimals Easter eggs. Something else that I love about Hatchimals is that they really don’t take up a lot of space. Do yourself a favor and pick up this Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Bunny Family Spring Basket while you still can!

3. Barbie Cutie Reveal

Barbie Cutie Reveal

I don’t know what it is about the Barbie Cutie Reveal dolls, but I think they’re absolutely adorable. Maybe it’s the bright colors, maybe it’s the soft clothes that they come with. Either way, we got one for our 5 year old for Christmas and she loves it. The good news is, they’re constantly making new Cutie Reveal dolls! They do have a bunny doll, which would be perfect for Easter. But if you’re looking forward to summer, you’ll love their new Cutie Reveal dolls (like this Tiger one). Definitely grab one of these colorful dolls for your little girl’s Easter basket!

4. Melissa & Doug Puffy Activity Sticker Books

The last toy on my last-minute Easter gift guide is from the awesome toy company, Melissa & Doug. We love and have so many of their products. One product that I highly suggest is the Melissa & Doug Puffy Activity Sticker Books. We’ve bought these for ourselves and gifted them to other kids as well because we like them so much. In fact, I even have two of their books in our prize bin right now. For Easter this year make sure you pick up their three pack of Princess, Fairy and Mermaid books. The pictures are adorable and the stickers hold up really well!

Last-Minute Easter Crafting Gifts

Almost all little kids love crafting in some way, shape or form. There are so many fun and adorable crafting things out there for little girls. I went through and found some of our absolute favorites.

  1. Crayola Scribble Scrubbie Pets

Crayola Scribble Scrubbie Pets

Crayola’s Scribble Scrubbie Pets are for sure a great last-minute Easter gift! We’ve had Scrubbie Pets for years now, and we absolutely love them. In fact, my daughter was just playing with hers today! As kids, my girls love the fact that they can be creative with them, and that they can draw whatever they want. They also love that they can draw on one of their toys without getting into trouble! As a mom, I love that these are small and barely take up any room. They can entertain my girls for a good amount of time, too. And I love that they can be used over and over again! If you’ve never seen them before, they definitely have quite a few kinds to choose from. Scribble Scrubbie Pets would definitely make a great last-minute Easter gift.

2. Melissa & Doug Created by Me! Wooden Magnets

Our Melissa a& Doug Magnet is still holding up great!

Here I am again with yet another Melissa & Doug item on my list. I told you we liked their stuff! These Melissa & Doug Created by Me! Wooden Magnet sets are the perfect craft to stuff in your little girl’s Easter basket this year. My girls have gotten these magnets in the past, and have absolutely loved them. They last a long time, too! We still have the butterfly magnets on our fridge years later. Check out this awesome three pack which includes butterflies, flowers and heart magnets. And if you like these, you might want to check out their other Created By Me! items as well.

3. Creativity for Kids Mini Garden

Mini Garden: Unicorn

If your girls are anything like mine, then they love to grow plants and to watch things grow. I’ve seen these Mini Garden terrariums many times, and think they are so, so cute! Not only do your kiddos get to grow something, they also get to decorate the adorable container it will grow in. While we don’t have one of these yet, I might just have to get them this year for my girls. If your little girl loves gardening and watching plants grow, I definitely say add this to your Easter Basket list. And if they don’t like unicorns…no worries! They have mermaid and dinosaur terrariums, too.

Girls Beauty Items for Your Easter Gift Guide

Let’s be honest…little girls might not need the beauty items, but they want to be like the Mamas and other older women in their lives. And while I’m not in a rush to give my girls makeup and other beauty items, it is fun to give them something to make them feel “grown up” every once in a while. That’s where these cute beauty items come in handy!

  1. Lip Smackers Lippy Pals
Lip Smackers Unicorn Lippy Pal

Lip Smackers has been around for ages, and that’s probably one reason why I like it so much. We’ve given our girls these super cute Lippy Pal chapsticks in the past, and they love them. From cute designs to fragrant smells, these Lip Smackers Lippy Pals scream “little girl.” You can get them individually, like the unicorn above, or you can buy them in a three pack. Right now they have the super cute combo of the Lip Smackers Lippy Pals Fox, Bunny and Llama (plus other choices, too). Trust me, your little girl will love finding these in her basket on Easter morning!

2. Press-On Nails

A Last-Minute Easter Gift Guide for Little Girls
Claire’s has a great selection of press-on nails.

When going to Claire’s lately to browse, my girls really seem to be drawn to the fake, press-on nails. While my big rule for them is no glue-on nails, I don’t mind the press-on kind. Claire’s has a lot of nails to choose from, but if you’re pressed on time or you don’t have a Claire’s close by, you can always check out Amazon. I was browsing the other day and found these adorable Disney Princess Press-On Nails. They have a lot of great reviews, they don’t require glue, and they are the perfect size to put in an Easter basket. Go ahead and check them out! I bet your little girl will love them.

Bonus: Get a Cute Basket, Too!

I’m not the kind of Mom to go out and buy new Easter baskets every year. The ones that we have for our girls are the same ones we’ve had for a few years now. That doesn’t stop me from looking at new ones, though. If you’re looking for an Easter basket, I found these two adorable ones while shopping the other day. One is from Target and the other is from Amazon.

I love that this Easter basket from Target could be used all year long!

Time to Get Shopping!

Alright, get on out there and get to shopping! Easter will be here before you know it. I hope this gift guide has helped you and started you down the path towards Easter greatness.

Have you found any other great gifts this Easter season? If so, let me know in the comments below!
