Can you believe that March is wrapping up, and that April is almost here? I know I’m struggling with that idea! March was a busy month for me. We had Girl Scout Cookie booths every weekend, birthday parties, appointments…the list goes on forever most days. But in all of that craziness I found a few things to make my life more enjoyable. It should come as no surprise that Amelie’s French Bakery and Cafe has found a spot on my list of favorite things from March. If you saw my article about Amelie’s earlier this month then you know how much I love their cafe. As a Charlotte, North Carolina newbie, it’s a great feeling to know that I found a place that I really love. Their food and pastries are amazing. Their coffee is delicious. I love the vibe and atmosphere of their place. They also get bonus points because they’re right down the street from my therapist. I know that I have a lot more cafes and coffee shops to explore in Charlotte, but Amelie’s definitely sets the bar high!

Favorite Drink: Kombucha (Of All Kinds!)

I started drinking kombucha earlier this year. I am a person that struggles with gut health and other annoying health issues. Kombucha has been a big help. When I first started drinking it, my husband was kind of grossed out. Despite how “ick” it may sound to some, it actually tastes really good. With all different kinds, flavors and brands out there, you are bound to find one you like. The greatest part about this favorite thing of mine is that it’s good for you! There are so many articles out there, such as this one from Women’s Health Magazine, that explain the health benefits of kombucha. While it might not be a cure-all for your gut, it will definitely help the healing process.

Okay, so I don’t get new technology often. And I am definitely not a tech expert. But I am loving my new Google Pixel 7 so much that I wanted to put it on my list of my favorite things from March. I had no intention of getting a new phone, but my husband informed me that my old phone was no longer supported with updates. Bummer! I had a Google Pixel 3 before getting the Google Pixel 7. My favorite feature? The camera! The pictures that I take with this phone are incredible. They’re clear, there are so many editing options, and there are plenty of other fun features. If you’re in the market for a new phone I highly suggest you check out the Google Pixel 7. You can buy them unlocked, too, so that you can switch carriers whenever needed without having to buy a new phone.
