Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • aluminum foil
  • 1 gallon Ziploc bag

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken wingettes approximately 12-15 wings
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 4 tbsp Old Bay seasoning plus extra for dusting

Instructions

  • Clean the wings.
  • In the gallon sized ziploc bag, mix together the apple cider vinegar, olive oil, water and Old Bay seasoning.
  • Add the chicken wings to the bag. Seal it completely. Mix the chicken wings with the marinade until they are coated, massaging as needed.
  • Let the bag with the chicken wings sit in the fridge for 2.5 hours.
  • Once you've taken the chicken wings out of the fridge, preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
  • Take the wings out of the bag. Line the baking sheet with the wings, skin side up. Throw away the bag and the excess marinade. Dust the wings with extra Old Bay seasoning if you'd like.
  • Put the wings in the oven. Cook for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes is up, switch the oven to Broil. Broil for no more than 5 minutes, or until the skin is golden and crispy. Because the wings are small they'll cook fast, so keep an eye on them.
  • Serve the Old Bay Wings warm with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!

Notes

  • If you have an air fryer, I'm sure you could try to make these in there. I've never made them that way so I'm not sure what settings you would need to use.
  • To spice up your dipping sauce, mix some Old Bay Hot Sauce with Ranch dressing.
